We are a central Indiana firearms training company that provides introductory to advanced training for the pistol, shotgun and AR 15 carbine. We are able to present lectures in a classroom setting and live fire instruction at indoor and outdoor ranges. All our training is based on the sincere belief that there is no such thing as advanced techniques, only advanced application of the fundamentals.

Bio: Eric became a full time instructor at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in 2022 after retiring from full-time law enforcement with 28 years of service. He spent more that 20 years on the SWAT team for his agency, while serving as commander for 4 years. He has completed hundreds of hours of pistol, shotgun and AR 15 carbine instruction. He has instructed more than one thousand hours on these weapon systems. He holds firearm instructor certifications from the NRA, Rangemaster and the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board. He was fortunate to receive training from Yavapai Firearms Academy (Louis Awerbuck), EAG (Pat Rogers), Personal Defense Solutions (Bob Whaley), Handgun Combatives (Dave Spaulding), Rangemaster (Tom Givens), FPF training (John Murphy), Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) and several courses through National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). He also holds a certification from Force Science on the use of force.

I spent 10 years active duty Army as a cavalry scout, have been an NRA instructor for years and still find value in the classes. The calm and well planned classes are excellent learning environments for any level of shooter. Most importantly, the range/class is done safely. But, also important is that the material is no nonsense and come from decades of professional training and real-world experience. I’ve had several big-name National training classes and would put Eric right there with them in quality. Added bonus, I don’t have to go out-of-state, spend days in a hotel, and take time off work to do them. If you live in Indiana, the training location is is convenient, the range itself is excellent, and the information and skills you will learn are priceless. Highly recommend attending.

Eric is a really well kept secret. I've trained with some of the best in the country and he ranks right up there with those guys. His real world experience combined with a commitment to teaching the use of firearms is very effective. Not only have I trained with him, but I've sent family members to learn from him as well. He's great with women and recognizes that some women don't appreciate the "intensity" of some of the more popular trainers. Bottom line, he's a great instructor and an even better person.
